Overview
Happy Road Horse Riding in Songpan is a well-known horse caravan tour and has been running the horse-back riding tourism for over 20 years. Its widespread reputation has attracted numerous foreign tourists to travel in Songpan.
The horse-back riding routes vary from 2 days to 7 days, covering Huanglong national park, Ga Li Tai grassland, Mt. Xuebaoding. You will pass peaceful villages, holy monasteries, small paths around barley fields, and stay in camps (5000m) on the banks of crystal-clear lakes and taste the local delicacies as if travelling in heaven.

Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Chengdu-Songpan
Rent a car or take a public bus from Chengdu to Songpan, taking about 7 hours to cover 350km in total. The local tour guide will pick you up when you arrive in Songpan.
Stay overnight in Songpan
Day 2: Horse riding: Songpan-Munigou
Today is an interesting day of horse riding and getting close to nature. You will be absolutely astonished by the holy and pure snow-capped mountains, tranquil valleys, jadeite green grassland, and primitive forests.

Day 3: Horse riding: Munigou-Er’daohai
Keep enjoying your horse riding to Er’daohai, where you can enjoy a hot spring bathing with clear mineral water.

Day 4: Horse riding: Munigou-Songpan
Go back to Songpan by horse-riding, and visit some Tibetan villages en route.
Stay overnight in Songpan
Day 5: Sonpan – Chengdu (or Jiuzhaigou /Huanglong)
After enjoying three days’ horse riding, you can get back to Chengdu directly or continue your trip to Jiuzhaigou or Huanglong. There are public buses from Songpan to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong.
