Day 1:Kathmandu Arrival

Everest Expeditions Nepal airport representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the Hotel in Kathmandu as denoted in the itinerary. All the trip plans will be discussed. You will be given the permits and necessary documents which we will prepare before your arrival. The welcome dinner is organized and guides are introduced. Overnight at Hotel
Day 2:Kathmandu Sightseeing: Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Gujeswari and Jal Narayan. Evening Trip briefing at Hotel.

Today after a light breakfast, we visit a variety of places in Kathmandu valley. You will explore Pashupatinath Temple and worship lord Shiva and learn about the culture more vastly, next stop will be Guheswori Temple one of the holiest temple 1 km east of Pasupatinath on the bank of the Bagmati river. We will then drive a short distance to the Boudhanath Stupa. In Bouddha, wander the Tibetan-inspired streets and illustrate some local delicacies, Final destination will be Jalnarayan Temple (Sleeping Vishnu, Budanilkantha) which takes around 45 minutes and stretches into Shivapuri National Park, worship Lord Vishnu, and Transfer to Hotel. Day 3:Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. Overnight at Hotel

After breakfast, we will take a private vehicle towards Syaprubesi, which takes around 6 hours roughly. The road is full of towns and terraced farmlands which is also an experience to gather and know about hilly Nepal. Stroll around Syaprubesi and observe their lifestyle. Take as many rests as possible as tomorrow we need to start our walking journey.
Day 4:Drive to Kerung by crossing the Tibet border. Overnight at Guest House

We will board a Tourist Bus after breakfast and begin our journey along the black-topped road to the freshly opened friendship bridge at the Nepal-Tibet border. In around 2 hours, we will arrive in Kerung, Tibet’s first village. Stroll around the village and enjoy the environment. Overnight at Kerung
Day 5:Drive Kerung to Saga. Overnight at Hotel

To get to the settlement of Saga, we’ll drive through the high hills on a nice black-topped road. The path climbs up and down the Thong La and La Lung hills before bringing us to the settlement of Saga in comfort. Along the route, we’ll visit Lake Peikutso and the Tibetan people’s traditional yak and sheep grazing techniques. Guesthouse for the night.
Day 6:Drive to Lake Mansarovar

We will today go to the world’s highest freshwater lake in the early morning after breakfast. The holy lake of Mansarovar, which is greenish-blue in color, is located at an altitude of 4558 meters. The lake is said to have formerly been Lord Bishnu’s resting place. Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandala, and Lake Rakshash surround it. The terrible King Ravan is said to have created Lake Rakshasa, which is why the villagers believe the water is poisoned.
Day 7:Exploration of Lake Mansarovar and drive to Darchen. Overnight at Hotel

Today, we’ll immerse ourselves in the colors of religion by visiting the sacred lake of Mansarovar. We’ll perform a few rituals before heading to Darchen’s village. We will be able to see the sacred Mt. Kailash along the journey. Darchen used to be known as Lhara. The town is located directly in front of Mt. Kailash, which is considered sacred. Overnight at Darchen
Day 8:Drive to Yamadwar and Trek to Derapuk (First day of Kailash Kora)

We’ll drive to Tarboche, a little town. The Kailash Kora’s beginning point is Tarboche. Tarboche is home to Yamadwar, the god of death’s gateway. We’ll travel a few hours from here to the settlement of Derapuk, which sits in front of Mt. Kailash’s north face. Beautiful views of the Gurla-Mandala, Ape, Kamet, and other high peaks will be available today.
Day 9:Trek to Juthulpuk via Drolma La Pass (second day of Kailash Kora)

Today is Kailash Kora’s longest and most difficult trek day. To get to Juthulpuk, we’ll climb up Drolma La, the highest pass in the area. First, we’ll travel to Jarok Donkhang, a small Tibetan settlement. We will then hike towards the Shiva-tsal. People are said to die a symbolic death in Shiva-tsal before being reincarnated. Once they reach the summit of the Drolma La Pass, they are said to be reincarnated. We’ll have a break here for a while before descending steeply to the Lham-chu Khir River’s banks. Wefollow the river to the Khando Sangam La, which faces Mt. Kailash on the eastern side. We’ll arrive at the settlement of Juthulpuk. The location was named after the famed Juthulpuk Cave, also known as the Miracle Cave. We’ll be able to see the Buddha’s footprints along the road.
Day 10:Finish Kailash Kora and drive back to Saga (Third day of Kailash Kora)(Kora ends)

We’ll spend the morning exploring the caverns and temples surrounding the Milarepa cave. After breakfast, we’ll climb for 3-4 hours to finish our Kora and return to Darchen village. We’ll eat lunch there before returning to Saga village.
Day 11:Drive back to Kerung. Overnight at Guest House.

We’ll take a leisurely journey back to the town of Kerung. As we descend on a paved trail, we will have some free time. The rest of our time will be spent relaxing. Overnight at Kerung
Day 12:Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel

We will then drive back to Kathmandu crossing Nepal Tibet Border. Everest Expeditions Nepal will organize the farewell dinner at a Nepalese cultural restaurant. Stroll around Kathmandu valley or Thamel at night.

Today our representative from Everest Expeditions Nepal will drop you at Tribhuwan International Airport. You officially complete the journey today and proceed toward your homeland.
