ITINERARY

Day 01: Kathmandu arrival (1300 m).

Our representative will pick you up at the Tribhuvan International Airport and guide you to your hotel. Overnight at hotel. (L,D)

Day 02: Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley and Trip briefing. Overnight at Hotel

We will visit some famous Hindu Temples of the Kathmandu Valley today. After breakfast, we will visit Pashupatinath, Gujeswari Shaktipith, and Jalnarayan andget back to hotel. Short Briefing of the trip at the hotel.You can purchase some essential goods for the Yatra if needed. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1600m / 145KM / 6-7 hrs drive).

In the morning, we will drive to Syabrubesi. Syabrubesi is a town in the northern region of Kathmandu, in Langtang. After 6-7 hours of drive in the Pasang Lhamu Highway, we reach Syabrubesi. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 04: Drive to Kerung (4 hours / 120 km). Overnight at Guest house

After breakfast, we will start the trip on the highway roads to reach the friendship bridge at the Nepal-Tibet border or the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung border. We will arrive at the 1st village of Tibet, Kerung (also called Gyirung) in about 4 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 05: Drive from Kerung to Saga (5-6 hours, 4640m). Overnight at hotel.

The path climbs up and down the passes of Thong La and La Lung before getting us comfortably to the village of Saga. Along the way, we will be able to see Lake Peikutso and the typical yak and sheep grazing technique of the Tibetan people. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Acclimatization day at Saga

We will spend the day at Saga for acclimatizing in the high altitude. We can go for short hikes and roam around in Saga throughout the day. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Drive from Saga to Lake Mansarovar (5-6 hours, 277km, 4558m). Overnight at Guest house

After an early breakfast, we will drive towards the highest fresh water Lake in the world. The holy lake of Mansarovar, lying at an altitude of 4558 meters with a pristine greenish-blue color. It is believed that the lake was once a resting place of Lord Bishnu. It is surrounded by Mt. Kailash, Mt. Gurula-Mandala and the Lake Rakshash (Rakshash Taal). Lake Rakshash is believed to be created by the evil King Ravan which is why the locals think the water here is poisonous.  Complete Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake by vehicle (2 hrs,110 km). Overnight at Guest House.

Day 08: Exploration Day. Drive to Darchen (1 hour, 40km, 4575m). Overnight

Today, we will get into the colors of religion and explore the holy lake of Mansarovar. We will perform some rituals (puja) and get going to the village of Darchen. The village is situated right in front of the sacred Mt. Kailash. Overnight at Hotel

Day 09: Kailash Kora. Drive from Darchen to Yamadwar and trek to Derapuk (5-6 hours, 4900m). Overnight at Guest house

We will drive to the small settlement of Tarboche. Tarboche is the starting point of the Kailash Kora. Yamadwar, the gateway of the God of Death, is located in Tarboche. From here, we will walk a few hours to arrive at the settlement of Derapuk, situated infront of the North face of Mt. Kailash. Overnight at a Guest House.

Day 10: Kailash Kora. Trek to Juthulpuk via Drolma La Pass (8-9 hours, 19km, 4760m). Overnight at Guest house.

Today is the longest and hardest trek day among the Kailash Kora. We walk up the highest pass of Dolma-La to arrive at the village of Juthulpuk. First, we will be heading to the village of Jarok Donkhang. From there, we will hike towards the Shiva-stal. We will rest here for some time and then, take a steep downhill to get to the banks of the Lham-chu Khir River. On the way, we cetch sight of the Holy Pond of ‘Gaurikunda’. After some time, we reach the village of Juthulpuk. The place got its name from the famous cave of Juthulpuk or ‘the miracle cave’. Along the way, we will be able to catch sight of the Buddha’s footprints. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 11: Finish Kailash Kora and Drive back to Saga. Overnight

During the morning, we will be exploring the caves and temples around the Milarepa cave. After breakfast, we will hike some 3-4 hours to complete our Kora and get back to the village of Darchen. We will have lunch there, and drive back to the village of Saga. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 12: Drive to Kerung. Overnight at guest house.

We will drive back to the village of Kerung, Nepal – Tibet border in a comfortable ride, on paved Tibetan roads. We get some free time today, rest and overnight at a guest house in Kerung.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

We will complete the immigration at the Nepal – Tibet border, after the formalities, we will drive back to the capital city, Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Final departure to home

Our representative will drop you at the Tribhuwan International Airport for your departure.

Booking Policy

  • Application should be submitted at least 45 days before the provisional date of departure.
  • Minimum of 6 months valid Passport scan copy by mail or passport copy by courier should summit when the booking is made
  • Upon the confirmation 30% deposit amount per person is required
  • Our company trip booking form with your signature as per our term and condition  
  • All the clients need to carry ID Proof, (Voter ID Proof) OR passport original while traveling by air.
  • The itinerary can be changed without notice due to unavoidable circumstance beyond our control such as political unrest, Natural calamities, changes in itinerary by the Chinese authorities etc.

Cancellation Policy

Once we received your notice for cancellation in written, following cancellation rules will apply:

  • If cancelled less than 30 days prior to departure due to client’s personal problems, all previously paid amount(s) will be forfeited
  • If cancelled between 30 – 90 days prior to departure, 75% of your payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit.
  • If cancelled more than 90 days prior to your departure date, your full payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit INR 25000.00 per person
